Mumbai: Police have registered a case against two Pakistani brothers who have been living illegally in Gulzarnagar area of Bhiwandi for decades. Police have registered a case against seven other people on charges of helping these two including obtaining fake documents and are taking further action.
In this regard, Bhiwandi police officer Suresh Dhuge said that two brothers from Pakistan named Haroon Umar Parkar and Aslam Umar Parkar were living illegally in Gulzarnagar area of Bhiwandi since 1971 without valid documents. While the police have registered a case against seven other people for making fake documents and ID cards etc. and helping them in posing a threat to the security of the country.
Police have booked nine people under IPC sections 420 (cheating by inducement), 465 (forgery), 468 (forgery), 471 and 34 (common intention) as well as the Passport Act and the Foreigners Provision Act. No arrests have been made in the case so far.
