Sultanpur, 12 August (HS). A 171 feet long tricolor Kanwar Yatra was taken out in Lambhua. On the Monday of Sawan, Kanwariyas will take water from Adi Maa Gomti located at the ancient Dham Dhopapp and reach the ancient Baba Janwarinath Dham. Meanwhile, thousands of devotees have participated in the tricolor Kanwar Yatra which was taken out with music, DJ and tableau. The echo of Bol Bam is heard everywhere.
On Monday, like every year, the historic Kanwar Tiranga Yatra was taken out in Lambhua. The total length of this Kanwar is 171 feet. The entire Kanwar has been decorated with flowers and wrapped in tricolor cloth.
President of Kanwad Nirman Samiti, Lambhua resident Dilip Agrahari said that Tiranga Kanwad Yatra is being taken out since 2011. Last year, the Kanwad was 161 feet long, this time a 171 feet long and weighing more than a ton Tiranga Kanwad Yatra has been taken out. Carrying it on their shoulders, more than a hundred people are carrying it from the mythological Dhopapp Dham of Lambhua to Baba Janwarinath Dham. In this journey of about 12 km, cultural programs and light refreshments have been arranged by Shiv devotees. In the cultural programs presented at the stops during the Tiranga Yatra, many well-known artists are giving unique presentations through tableaus, dances and songs. Arrangements have also been made for flower shower on Kanwadis at about 20 places.
