In an interview, Vihaan said, 'I had to sit on the casting couch at the beginning of my acting career. During the audition, a boy asked me if I would compromise for this role. I was only 17 years old then. I was very scared. I casually declined the man's offer and left his office. At first I was going through a lot of shock. I didn't know how to react.
Although I was aware of all these incidents while living in Mumbai, I never thought that this would happen to me. To protect myself, I boosted my confidence, determined that no one would dare to give it to me in the future.
Vihaan said that I was hesitant to tell my parents about it but I told my friends about it but when they told my parents they supported me. I was afraid to tell my parents at first, I thought they might ask me to leave acting but when I told them, they inspired me to move forward in life with full confidence. I also realized that sexual harassment happens everywhere. So I moved ahead without any compromise.
