Prayagraj, 22 May (HIST). The Home Guards Department has made complete preparations for the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections. For this, a total of 1684 home guards from Prayagraj will be employed on election duty. Whereas a total of 5319 home guards have come from outside districts for the district elections.
Giving this information on Wednesday, District Commandant Home Guards Amit Kumar Pandey said that arrangements have been made to accommodate Home Guards coming from outside districts in 53 schools. All the Home Guards will play their role in supporting the administration in the elections to be held on 25th May and making the elections successful.
On the occasion of gathering of Home Guards at CAV Inter College today, Divisional Commandant D. D. Maurya gave necessary instructions to the Home Guards while on duty. District Commandant Amit Kumar Pandey encouraged all the Home Guards and directed that they will complete their election duty safely with full dedication, good turnout, good discipline and will not violate any kind of election rule.
On this occasion, Inspector Sunil Kumar Yadav, Indra Narayan Pandey and all company in-charge BO- Company Commander and other company officers and all the office staff were present.
