1600 iPhones were looted after a truck driver was held hostage in Madhya Pradesh | News India

A major incident has taken place in the sea of ​​Madhya Pradesh. iPhones brought in a container from Hyderabad were looted. According to information, the cost of 1600 iPhones is about Rs 12 crore. Two policemen have been suspended for negligence in this case. The incident was carried out by taking the container driver hostage.

On August 14, the driver left Hyderabad with the iPhone. A security guard was also present with him in the container. It is being told that another guard also had to board the container near Lakhnadon. The security guard stopped for tea. Meanwhile, the other guard also arrived there. After this, all three people left with the container.

Due to falling asleep on the way, the driver parked the truck on the side of the road and went to sleep. When the driver woke up the next day, his hands, legs and mouth were tied. Somehow he freed himself from the bonds. After this, when he looked in the container, the iPhone was missing.

Sagar Zone IG Pramod Verma said, we received information that 1,600 iPhones worth Rs 12 crore have been stolen. The accused is said to be a security guard. Teams have been formed to investigate the matter.

The driver immediately reported the matter to Bandri police station in Sagar district. But the police did not register an FIR. The driver was told that the matter belongs to another police station area. On getting information about the matter, the IG himself reached the police station and asked for details of the action taken. The IG ordered action against police station in-charge Bhagchand Uik and ASI Rajendra Pandey for negligence.
