In order to prevent the devastation caused by fire in the forest area during the scorching summer season, the Forest Department has deployed a team of fire watchers in the Valmiki Nagar forest area of Valmiki Tiger Project Forest Division 2. According to the news, the Forest Department has distributed essential snacks including Sattu, water bottles, Chuda, biscuits etc. to the fire watchers posted in Jatashankar, Bhedihari and Kotrahan forest areas of Valmiki Nagar forest area under the leadership of Forest Guard Gajendra Singh. The team of watchers were happy to get a snack of insects.
When asked in this context, Ranger Rajkumar Paswan of Valmiki Nagar forest area said that the fire watchers in the forest area make unprecedented contribution in the protection of forest wealth and wildlife during the summer season. Necessary snack kits have been distributed among the forest personnel deployed on duty. Soon, necessary equipment to protect the forest from fire will also be distributed among them.
