In Nanded, Maharashtra, the Income Tax Department has taken major action and seized unaccounted property worth crores of rupees. According to the information, the IT team has carried out this action by raiding Bhandari Finance and Adinath Cooperative Bank. During this 72-hour operation, the Income Tax Department has recovered a large amount of cash. It took more than 14 hours to count. At present the Income Tax team is busy investigating this entire matter.

In this action which lasted for 72 hours, the Income Tax Department has recovered unaccounted assets worth Rs 170 crore from the Bhandari family. Apart from this, the department has also found 8 kg gold and cash worth Rs 14 crore, which has been taken into custody. This action created panic among financial traders.

According to the information, Bhandari family has a big personal finance business in Nanded. Here the Income Tax Department had received a complaint of tax evasion. Due to this, hundreds of Income Tax Department officials conducted joint raids in six districts Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Parbhani, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Nanded. On Friday, May 10, the team raided Bhandari Finance and Adinath Cooperative Bank of Nanded. A team of about 100 officers reached Nanded in 25 vehicles.

The team also raided the residences of the Bhandari family in Parasnagar, Mahavir Society, Farande Nagar and Kabra Nagar. The Income Tax Department has taken such action for the first time in Nanded district. Income Tax Department officials continued the action for three days on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. During this time all the documents were examined.
