Ramgarh, 2 December (Hindustan Reporter). Police have recovered Rs 14.3 lakh and jewelery stolen from the house of Sanjeev Chadha, owner of KVS Hotel in the city.
SP Ajay Kumar gave information about this matter during the press conference on Monday evening. He told that the thief Akash Dhanak has been arrested from his native village Moti Nagar police station area under Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh. The police has achieved this success within 48 hours. SP told that Akash Dhanak had committed this theft incident on the night of 28th November. On November 29, when Sanjeev Chadha’s family returned home from the wedding ceremony, they came to know about the theft. As soon as the police received the information, the thief was immediately identified.
Thief’s house detected through technical cell
SP said that with the help of technical cell, it was also ascertained that Akash Dhanak was hiding in his house in Sant Kabir Nagar. Immediately the police team went there and conducted a raid and arrested him. Akash had hidden the stolen money and jewelery on the rooftop of his house. The police recovered the bag from the place where it was kept. Rs 14.31 lakh were found from that bag. Apart from this, 22 pairs of jewelery have also been found, which include bracelet, bangle, bangle, silver biscuit, silver note, tops, locket, chain, mangalsutra, anklet, silver coin, silver biscuit, gold coin etc.
