Ayodhya, 20 September (HS). The Yogi government is ready to protect the crops of farmers from stray animals and to protect mute animals in Ayodhya. In Ayodhya, stray animals are being protected rapidly. 12,754 destitute cows have been protected in 60 cow shelters in Ramnagari Ayodhya. Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. DSM Prasad said that 538 cows have been protected in the special cow protection campaign run in Ayodhya.
State government head Yogi Adityanath believes that by protecting cows, farmers' crops can be saved from nomadic animals. Also, when nomadic animals come on the roads, road accidents occur. The government believes that when nomadic cows are protected in gaushalas, farmers' crops will be saved and road accidents will decrease. Keeping this in mind, a campaign was run from 13 to 19 September for the protection of nomadic cows.

To save the mute cows in the district from the threat of lumpy skin disease, 44 teams have been deployed in 11 blocks of the district. By October 31, 2.19 lakh doses of Lumpy vaccination will be given to cows in Ayodhya.
