New Delhi: A 12-year-old student has been detained by the police for threatening to blow up a school in Vasant Vihar area of ​​South Delhi. According to police sources, this student had sent an email threatening to bomb his own school.

Vasant Vihar school received threatening email

According to the police, this school in Vasant Vihar was among the 30 schools which had received an email with a bomb threat on Friday. As soon as the information about the email was received, the police started investigation and soon traced the boy who sent the email. After the student was taken into custody, he was counseled and released after warning his parents.

The thought of giving threat came after watching the news on channels.

During interrogation, the student told that he sent this email because he had seen news on news channels about threat to bomb other schools in Delhi. Inspired by these news, he also planned to carry out a similar incident.

Student statement:

“I thought I would not be caught because even in earlier cases no accused had been caught.”

Even before this on Monday, 44 schools in Delhi had received bomb threat emails.

Frequent bomb threat incidents in the national capital

This incident has come to light for the third time this week when a bomb threat has been issued to a school in Delhi. On Saturday also, another school received a similar threatening email, due to which there is an atmosphere of fear and tension in the schools of the capital.
