Here 11 beneficiary women of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana allegedly ran away with their lovers after taking the first installment. The husbands of these women have complained about this incident to the district administration.

Actually, this case is from Nichlaul block of Maharajganj district of UP. The surprising thing is that all these women are from different villages. The matter came to light when the woman's husband asked the police to stop the next installment of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. These 11 women were from 9 different villages.

These women received the first installment of Rs 40,000 for building a house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. As soon as they received the installment, they cheated their husbands and ran away with their lovers. After the husbands' complaint, the department has started the process of recovering the government money given to them.

According to media reports, 2350 beneficiaries were selected in the year 2023-24 in a total of 108 villages of Nichlaul block area of ​​​​Maharajganj. Out of these, more than 2 thousand houses have been built for the beneficiaries. Under this scheme, the first installment of housing was provided to these 11 women.

Now the husbands of the women who are running away are worried that the administration may issue a notice in their name to recover the installment money. However, after this incident, the next installment of many beneficiaries has been stopped.
