11 vehicles including a school bus that failed fitness were seized, 10 were challaned

Mirzapur, July 03 (HS). The district's Assistant Divisional Transport Officer Enforcement II team Vijay Prakash Singh on Wednesday conducted a checking campaign against fitness failed, permit failed, outstanding tax vehicles, especially school vehicles. In this, 11 vehicles were seized.

During the inspection, a school vehicle was found to be fitness-free and was seized and parked at Kajrahat police station. 10 other vehicles were also challaned for tax arrears. During the campaign, a bus operating without a permit was seized at the Mandi Samiti. Four other vehicles failing fitness were seized at the Mandi Samiti.

A vehicle registered as a private vehicle was being used as a commercial vehicle, it was also seized. Five other vehicles which failed fitness test and had tax dues were seized at Kajrahat police station. Assistant Divisional Transport Officer Enforcement II said that this campaign will continue continuously.
