100 MW special power allocation to Uttarakhand

Dehradun, 02 July (HS). On the request of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Central Government has made a special allocation of 100 MW electricity from the central pool to Uttarakhand. This allocation has been made from 04 July to 31 July this month. For this, the Chief Minister has expressed his gratitude to the Union Energy Minister.

It is noteworthy that last month, the Chief Minister had met Union Energy Minister Manohar Lal and discussed issues related to power production and supply in the state and had expected to ensure power supply to the state from the central pool.
