Ramgarh, 27 August (HS). Participants from Ramgarh rocked the WPC Jharkhand Open State Championship 2024 Powerlifting Bench Deadlift. Wrestlers from Ramgarh dominated the two-day state level championship held in Giridih. 10 participants from Ramgarh participated, including six girls and four boys. Anjali Singh Chauhan won the gold medal in full power lifting in the junior category, second position gold medal in bench press and first position gold medal in deadlift.
Shrishti Singh Chauhan secured second position in full power lifting, first position gold medal in bench press, first position gold medal in deadlift in the junior category. Pooja Kumari secured first position gold medal in junior revolutionary deadlift. Along with this, in the senior category, Lalit Chaurasia secured first position gold medal in full power lifting, first position gold medal in bench press, first position gold medal in dead lift. In the senior category, Dolly Gupta secured second position gold medal in deadlift and Harpreet Kaur secured third position gold medal.
The performance of the boys was also very good. Tushar Kumar Sen won the second position gold medal in the sub junior category deadlift. Among the boys, Suraj Munda, Nishant Kushwaha and Sagar Karmali also performed very well. Their coach and dumbbell gym trainer Gautam Kumar had a huge contribution in their victory.
Gym owner Shaili Agarwal said that it is a matter of great pride for her that the members of her gym performed so well at the state level and she, along with her trainers, will always be ready to do good for the people in the future too.
