Karnataka's Vivek became the 10th victim of the woman
Vivek, who lives in Kushalnagar in Kodagu district, told the High Court that he met Deepika on 28 August 2022. Both of them met in a business meeting at Hotel Lalit Mahal Palace in Mysore. On 8 September 2022, I received a notice from which I came to know that Deepika has filed a rape case against me. Kushalnagar police has called me to resolve this matter. In another complaint lodged with the police on 19 September 2022, the woman claimed that Vivek had married me but after marriage he started harassing me. Then I was thrown out of the house and left. The same matter reached the High Court and during the investigation, the police found the old criminal record of the woman.
Judge accused woman of filing false case
The judge hearing the case said that the case registered against Vivek is dismissed. Earlier also the trial court has acquitted the victims in 3 cases. The victims have accused Deepika of demanding extortion. The complainant herself was not present in the court during the hearing. This proves that she has falsely accused the victims and registered the case.' On the basis of the complaint, the police also registered a case of rape under section 376 of the IPC and took the accused into custody. This woman has also left behind incidents like honeytrap. The woman's intention is clear, to harass people and extort money from them. Prosecutors are constantly registering false cases. This needs to be stopped, so the police should take action.'
