10 lakh jobs are ready, BJP-CPI(M) are stopping them: Mamata Banerjee

Kolkata, 07 May (HS). The SSC case was heard in the Supreme Court on Tuesday. In this regard, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee told the election meeting that 10 lakh jobs are ready in the state. But all those jobs are getting entangled in legal troubles. Trinamool leader Mamata held an election rally in Purulia on Tuesday. There he accused BJP of canceling the jobs of 25 thousand 753 people in the SSC case. He said that they took away the jobs of the children. Teachers were made unemployed. Only people from BJP and CPI(M) are going to court.

It is noteworthy that the SSC case was heard in a three-judge bench of the Supreme Court on Tuesday. SSC told the apex court that out of the 25 thousand 753 canceled jobs, about 19 thousand jobs were secured by the eligible candidates. However, after hearing the statement of SSC, the Supreme Court questioned their responsibility.

SSC told the court that the decision to terminate employment does not fall within the jurisdiction of the court. In response, the Supreme Court has asked SSC why SSC did not call the tender properly for scanning OMR sheets?
