9. Revolt against Sheikh Hasina

Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) planned the biggest coup on 25-26 February 2009. During this time Sheikh Hasina sought help from India and the then Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee left no stone unturned to support Sheikh Hasina. However, the coup proved to be a failure and the rebel soldiers were imprisoned.

10. Demands of Islamic law

In January 2012, some people prepared a plan to implement Islamic law in Bangladesh. But this rebellion also could not succeed. This time the army itself foiled the coup plot.
