1.25 lakh Lakhpati Didi will be created in the state: Vinod Uniyal

New Tehri, 16 February (HS). Vinod Uniyal, Vice President (Minister of State) of State Level Women Entrepreneurship Council, said that till now work has been done to make 64867 women millionaires in the state and the target is to make 1.25 lakh women Lakhpati Didi. The state government has kept a budget of Rs 282 crore for the Nanda-Gaura scheme. With this, the work of women empowerment will be done faster.

Uniyal was addressing journalists at the BJP office on Friday. He further said that the state government is continuously moving towards development under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The state government is fully committed to the development of women. Decisions are continuously being taken in the interests of women. Work is being done to connect women with self health groups. Work is being done to connect women with handloom and craft industries.
