Bangladesh India Relations: With the support of the Bangladesh Army, Nobel Prize winner Mohammad Yunus has now taken charge of Bangladesh and has taken oath as the chief advisor of the interim government in the country. However, Mohammad Yunus has given a warning message to India as soon as he came to power. Talking about the situation in Bangladesh in an interview, he said that if there is instability in Bangladesh, then along with Myanmar, North-East India and West Bengal will also be affected. This statement of Mohammad Yunus is very much in discussion at this time and there is a possibility of a rift in the relations between India and Bangladesh due to this statement.
Sheikh Hasina's rival is Yunus
It is worth noting that Mohammad Yunus is a staunch opponent of Sheikh Hasina. Before coming to Bangladesh, Yunus gave a controversial interview. During the interview, Mohammad Yunus warned India and also attacked Sheikh Hasina. He said that there was no rule of law in Bangladesh for many years, due to which the country is currently facing instability. There was a demand for the resignation of Sheikh Hasina over the deteriorating law and order situation in the country. The main objective of the interim government in Bangladesh will be to restore law and order in the country. He further said that if there is instability in Bangladesh, then Myanmar as well as Northeast India and West Bengal will also be affected.
Mohammad Yunus expressed grief over India's statement
Earlier, Mohammad Yunus had expressed grief over India's statement on the violence. When violence broke out in Bangladesh last month, India refused to comment. Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said, 'We consider it a domestic matter of Bangladesh.' Therefore, Yunus expressed displeasure over India's response and said, 'I feel sad when India says it is a domestic matter. If your brother's house is on fire, how can you call it a domestic matter?'
BSF is on alert to prevent infiltration

Due to instability in Bangladesh, so far more than 500 Bangladeshis have tried to enter India illegally. However, the Border Security Force (BSF) personnel stopped them and handed them back to the Bangladesh Army. According to the North Bengal Frontier, these people tried to enter India fearing attack by protesters in Bangladesh.
