Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania said that the state government has started the ambitious Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar Student Loan Scheme so that children are not deprived of higher education due to lack of funds. On Saturday, as the chief guest at the annual function of Government Senior Secondary School, Har Boh, Deputy Chief Whip Keval Singh Pathania said that under the scheme, education loan of Rs 20 lakh will be available from banks at the rate of one percent interest to eligible Himachali students below 28 years of age. Will be done. The loan covers expenses for food, accommodation, tuition fees and other educational needs. Under the scheme, eligible Himachali students can apply for education loan for medical, para-medical, pharmacy, nursing, law, technical courses in ITI and polytechnic and for pursuing PhD from universities.
He said that teachers have an important role in building the future of children and constructive participation of teachers is necessary in the improvement of the education sector. Underlining the important role of teachers in nation building, he said that teachers should create such an environment in their schools in which students can move forward with the feeling of patriotism, values and patriotism.
He said that the state government has taken many innovative steps to rejuvenate the education sector. One such initiative is ‘Apna Vidyalaya: The Himachal School Adoption Programme’. Under this programme, the people of the state are ensuring their participation in the improvement of the education sector by adopting government schools.
