Hamirpur, 27 September (Hindus). A case of cruelty to a two-year-old innocent girl in a village of Jalalpur police station area has come to light on Friday. A case has been registered against the accused on the complaint of the girl's mother.
A woman resident of a village in the area told that she had gone to harvest the crop as a labourer. There was a 5 year old son and 2 year old daughter in the house. Then Devkaran of the village came home and after sending his son out, took the girl into the room and molested her, due to which she started crying profusely. Meanwhile, her son arrived, beat her and ran away.
The woman alleges that when she came home in the evening, after seeing the condition of the girl, she asked her son about the entire incident and informed the people of the locality. Also searched for the accused, but he absconded. Police Station Head Jalalpur Brijmohan said on Friday that on the complaint of the girl's mother, a case has been registered against the accused under rape and POCSO Act. The accused is being searched. On information, Additional Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Gupta went to the village and gathered information about the incident. The girl has been sent to the district hospital for medical examination.
