Yogi government formed 3 member high level committee for Advocate Protection Act

The UP government has constituted a 3-member high level committee for the Advocate Protection Act. This committee will deliberate on various aspects of the Advocates Protection Bill and submit its recommendations to the State Law Commission for necessary and appropriate action. This committee will include members nominated by the President of the Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh. For a long time, the advocates of Uttar Pradesh have been demanding the Yogi government to form a committee for the Advocate Production Act. Let us tell you that the Bar Council of India had put forward its model bill on 2 July 2021. Its objective was to ensure the safety of advocates and reduce obstacles in judicial work.
