WPL-2 starts from today, first match between Mumbai-Delhi

The second season of the Women's Premier League begins on Friday with a match between defending champions Mumbai Indians and runners-up Delhi Capitals, with all eyes on India's young players. Last year the entire league was played in Mumbai but this time it will be organized in Bengaluru and Delhi. Delhi captain Meg Lanning has said goodbye to international cricket but the main focus of the team in the league will be on her. He had scored the most runs last year. Mumbai bowler Hayley Mathews took the maximum of 16 wickets. Among many foreign star players in the tournament, Indian youth will also try their best to prove their ability. The opening match will start at 7:30 pm. An opening ceremony will be held before the match which is likely to be attended by many Bollywood stars.

In the first season, Indian players did not perform as per expectations. Shreyanka Patil will play for Royal Challengers Bangalore, which has been performing well for the last 10 months. All eyes will also be on Tita Sadhu of Delhi Capitals. Last season he did not get a chance to play even a single match but this time he cannot be ignored. Titas, 19, made her debut for India in women's cricket at the Asian Games and took three wickets for six runs in four overs against Sri Lanka. He proved his ability by taking four wickets in the T20 match played against Australia in Mumbai. Another young player from Delhi is Minnu Mani who will try his best to prove himself in the league. The off-spinner has played four T20 International matches for India. The Women's Premier League will be an important test for India's players considering several major events including the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup.
