World's first Vedic clock installed in Ujjain, PM will inaugurate virtually on Friday

Another achievement is being written in the name of Ujjain, the city of Mahakaleshwar, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. The long awaited Vedic clock has been installed at the Jivajirao Observatory at Gaughat, Ujjain. It can give many accurate information including sunrise-sunset time, lunar eclipse, solar eclipse, auspicious time. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Dr. Mohan Yadav will launch this Vedic watch virtually on March 1. Ujjain city has already been a center of time calculation. The Tropic of Cancer passes through Ujjain and Ujjain is also considered the birthplace of Mars. Vikram Samvat also started from Ujjain. Therefore, the world's first Vedic clock has been installed on an 80 feet high tower in the Jeevajirao Observatory here.

Vedic clock will be connected to internet, GPS

The Vedic clock will be connected to the Internet and Global Positioning System (GPS). It will provide information about Indian time calculations including IST and GMT, Vikram Samvat, sunrise to sunset, planets, yogas, bhadras, moon positions, nakshatras, choghadiyas, solar eclipses and lunar eclipses. Apart from this, all the information related to Abhijeet Muhurta, Brahma Muhurta, Amritkaal and weather will also be available. Every hour a new picture will appear in the background of the clock. Other religious places including Dwadash Jyotirlinga Temple, Navagraha, Zodiac Chakra will also be seen.
