Raebareli, 03 August (HS). In the case of making fake birth and death certificates in Raebareli, the police has exposed a big network. With the help of ATS, the police has arrested six people of the racket connected to different WhatsApp groups. Earlier, four people including the Gram Vikas Adhikari have been sent to jail in this case.
Revealing the case on Saturday, Superintendent of Police Abhishek Agarwal said that all these people were connected with each other through social media platforms. When someone needed a birth certificate, he would send a message in the group by writing his name, date of birth and name and address of parents. The person connected to the group, who has the login ID and password of the Gram Vikas Adhikari of that time, would issue the birth certificate by filling the details with the ID of the same Gram Vikas Adhikari and make a PDF file of it and put it in the group.
The Superintendent of Police said that this action was done by the Gram Vikas Adhikari through various Jan Seva Kendra operators using his login ID at that time. Due to which such fake birth certificates were easily made. The person who got this fake birth certificate used to make payment through the bar code. These people also used fake birth certificates to get undue benefits in various government schemes by manipulating the date of birth. A joint team of ATS and police has arrested Govind Kesari, resident of Sonbhadra, Akash, resident of Sant Kabir Nagar, Salman Ali of Gorakhpur, Sanjeev Kumar resident of Kushinagar, Vaibhav Upadhyay resident of Pratapgarh and Shahnawaz resident of Moradabad.
He told that before this, accused Gram Vikas Adhikari Vijay Singh Yadav along with Zeeshan, Suhail and Riyaz have been sent to jail. ATS and police have recovered many important equipment from the accused. Among them, three tablets, 11 mobiles, 7 laptops, credit cards, debit cards and Aadhar cards have been recovered. Investigation of the case is going on.
