Sultanpur, 09 April (HS). Former Union Minister and MP Maneka Sanjay Gandhi addressed massive public meetings and workers' conference in Sadar Assembly on the 9th day of her 10-day election tour.
He said that in the next five years Sultanpur will be made the number one district of UP. Said that he has worked here as a servant and not as an MP. I am the voice of the poor and the oppressed. No one can do injustice to even a single person in my area. My aim is to make Sultanpur a developed and prosperous city.
On Tuesday, he along with MLA Raj Prasad Upadhyay, former MLA Arjun Singh and former District President Dr. Sitasharan Tripathi addressed a dozen public meetings including in Patna Sonaura, Ahibaranpur, Kaliganj Bazar, Chauhanpur, Mary Ranjit and Kharagpur.
He said that the wave of Modi and BJP is going on in the country. The schemes of the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister have changed the fate of the poor. I also left no stone unturned in making Sultanpur shine. Pant Sports Stadium is being transformed for the youth at a cost of Rs. 6 crores. I have transformed Tirtharaj Dhopap without any government help. By connecting it with Ramayana Circuit, it will be made the number one religious center of the country. He told that thousands of women of the group have been connected with the products of Dhopap brand. Due to this, women are becoming strong and self-reliant.
Mrs. Gandhi gave the mantra of victory to the workers up to the booth level in Kurebhar, Semri, Gosaisinghpur, Motigarpur and Jaisinghpur divisions. There are 1991 booths in the said district. We have to work strategically with the target of 450 votes at every booth. We have to establish contact and communication with every voter by doing door to door campaign. If we get 8 lakh votes then victory will be great. The worker will get strength. Panna Pramukh will have to be in constant touch with the voters. I am proud of every BJP worker. The MP went to Padumra village of Jaisinghpur area and expressed condolences to the families of the fire victims.
It is noteworthy that on Monday, several houses in Musahar Tola of Padumra village caught fire, in which a 16-year-old girl also died.
