Pushpak aircraft was not of Ravana or Indra

The description of Pushpak Vimana is found in Ravana Samhita. Brahmadev first told about Pushpak aircraft. He told this to his devotee Vaishravan. According to Ravana Samhita, the Pushpak plane was bright as the Sun. By receiving it, a person can become like a deity. The Pushpak plane was neither of Ravana nor of Indra, the king of the gods.

Brahma gave Pushpak aircraft to Vaishravan

Vaishravan belonged to the dynasty of Ravana. He pleased Lord Brahma with his harsh penance, after which Lord Brahma gave him two boons. Brahmaji first made him the fourth Lokpal. Then he was given a floral plane so that he too could become like the gods. Brahma asked him to accept Pushpak as a driver in the plane. Thus Vaishravan got Pushpak aircraft. According to mythology, Pushpak Vimana was built by Vishwakarji, the craftsman of the gods. He built a floral aircraft for Brahmaji. But he gave it to Kubera.

Kubera is the half -brother of Ravana.

Pushpak was the lord of the plane, Kubera i.e. Vishrava, the father of Vaishravan. Mahamuni Bhardwaj married his daughter to Vishwa. Kubera was born from him. Ravana, Kumbhakarna and Vibhishan were born from Vishrava’s second wife Kaikashi. Thus Kubera was the half -brother of Ravana.
