Who is eligible for Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana?
Government of India launched Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana for poor and needy people. Under this scheme, free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh is provided to poor and needy people. Only those people are eligible to benefit from this scheme:
Disabled Persons: Disabled persons can avail the benefits of this scheme. People belonging to Scheduled Caste or Tribe are eligible for benefits under this scheme.
Additionally, people working in the unorganized sector are eligible for benefits. Daily wage laborers can also avail the benefits of this scheme. Persons from rural areas are eligible. People who are homeless or belong to the tribal community are eligible for benefits under the scheme. If you fall into any of these categories, you may be eligible for benefits.
