Jal Shakti Minister Swatantradev Singh reached the villages affected by the floods caused by the cutting of the track of Sharda Sahayak Canal in Biswa tehsil of Sitapur and took information from the officials involved in relief and rescue work. The Jal Shakti Minister also met the people of the villages affected by the floods and talked about providing all possible help.
Jalshakti Minister said on the spot that to prevent such incidents in future, it is necessary for the officials to inspect canal tracks and dams from time to time. Looking at the current situation, the officials should make every possible effort to control the situation within a short time. The district administration should work to provide the necessary items to the villagers staying in the relief camps with immediate effect. Special caution should be taken at night in view of the weather.
