Varanasi, 18 September (HS). Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in the programs of Kashi Sansad Cultural Mahotsav organized at Mandaliya Auditorium on Monday evening. During this, the Chief Minister saw the programs of the children participating in the festival. After this certificates were distributed among the children. During the program, State Minister Ravindra Jaiswal also honored the Chief Minister by giving him a corset and a memento. On this occasion, Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Anil Rajbhar, Minister of State for AYUSH and Food Security (Independent Charge) Dayashankar Mishra ‘Dayalu’ along with Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma, District Magistrate S. Rajalingam, Chief Development Officer Himanshu Nagpal were also present.
It is worth noting that in the series of ‘Kashi Sansad Cultural Mahotsav’ organized with the aim of promoting Indian culture in genres like dance, music, singing, street drama, district level competition was organized at five places on Monday. A cultural competition in solo and group categories of classical and sub-classical singing genres was organized in Police Commissionerate in different age groups. The event was presided over by the State Minister of State for Food and AYUSH with independent charge, Dr. Dayashankar Mishra ‘Dayalu’.
In this sequence, a street drama competition was organized for the participants in the age group of 18 to 40 and above 40 at the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Education, Sarnath. The competition was inaugurated by Member Legislative Council Hansraj Vishwakarma by lighting the lamp. District Panchayat President Poonam Maurya participated as the chief guest in the inauguration of the second day program at Sunbeam Varuna. On Monday, the second day of the district level dance form competition, Padma Vibhushan Girja Devi Cultural Complex was inaugurated by chief guest Rohania MLA Sunil Kumar Patel at Chowkaghat. Similarly, solo competition category in folk playing Naal and Tasha Damru and cultural competition in group playing Naal Damru and Naal genre was organized at Sant Atulanand Convent School, Gilat Bazar. The event was presided over by Nagendra Raghuvanshi, member Central Khadi Board and local councilor Sandeep Raghuvanshi.
