Vande Bharat train will run between Meerut-Lucknow, Prime Minister will give virtual green flag | News India



Meerut, August 30 (HS). The dream of traveling in the Vande Bharat Express train between Meerut and Lucknow is now going to come true. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off this train virtually on Saturday afternoon. Outgoing MP of Meerut Rajendra Agarwal has played an important role in running this train.

Outgoing MP of Meerut Rajendra Agarwal made a lot of efforts to run the Vande Bharat Express train between Meerut-Lucknow. For this, he kept trying to run the train by meeting Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. Due to his efforts, the Railway Ministry had approved running the Vande Bharat train between Meerut-Lucknow. Now from August 31, the dream of the people of Meerut to travel in Vande Bharat Express is going to come true.

The main program of inauguration of Vande Bharat train will be held at Meerut City Station. Along with the railway administration, BJP leaders are busy preparing for this program. Starting from Meerut, this train will take two stoppages in Moradabad and Bareilly. It will be welcomed here too.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually flag off the Vande Bharat Express. After the inauguration program, 200 children from four schools of Meerut City will travel in Vande Bharat for free. 50-50 children from these schools – Diwan Public School, Rishabh Academy, Darshan Academy and Lord Krishna School – will travel to Moradabad.

According to Railway Welfare Inspector Ajendra Singh, the children will then be brought back by bus from Moradabad. The Vande Bharat train will have eight AC chair car bogies. Passengers will be able to travel in general chair car and executive class.
