Indian Railways is continuously increasing the number of Vande Bharat trains. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday launched three new Vande Bharat Express trains for Maharashtra through video link. With this, the total number of Vande Bharat Express in the state has increased to 11. According to Indian Railways, the newly launched trains will run on Nagpur-Secunderabad, Kolhapur-Pune and Pune-Hubli routes.
Before the introduction of these trains, Maharashtra had eight Vande Bharat Express trains, operated by Western Railway and Central Railway. Of these trains, Western Railway operates Vande Bharat on Mumbai-Ahmedabad and Mumbai-Gandhinagar routes, while Central Railway runs Vande Bharat trains on Mumbai-Madgaon, Mumbai-Solapur, Mumbai-Sai Nagar Shirdi, Mumbai-Jalna, Nagpur-Raipur and Nagpur-Bilaspur routes. Now that the new trains have resumed, railway connectivity in these areas has become more accessible for travellers.
Let us know the stoppages and time table of the three Vande Bharat trains starting from Maharashtra:-
Kolhapur-Pune Vande Bharat Express
This train will run every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. It will leave Pune at 2:15 pm and reach Kolhapur at 7:40 pm. On the return journey, it will leave Kolhapur at 8:15 am and reach Pune at 1:30 pm. This Vande Bharat train will stop at stations like Miraj, Sangli, Kirloskarwadi, Karad and Satar.
Pune-Hubli Vande Bharat Express
This train will run every Thursday, Saturday and Monday. It will leave Pune at 4:15 pm and reach Hubli at 11:40 pm. On the return journey, it will leave Hubli at 5:00 am and reach Pune at 1:30 pm. This train will stop at Satar, Sangli, Miraj, Belgaum and Dharwad.
Nagpur – Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express
This train will run six days a week except Tuesday. It will leave Nagpur at 5:00 am and reach Secunderabad at 12:15 pm. On the return journey, the train will leave Secunderabad at 1:00 pm and reach Nagpur at 8:20 pm. The train will stop at stations like Sevagram, Chandrapur, Ballarshah, Ramgundam and Kazipat.
