Indian Railways is working rapidly to expand the network of Vande Bharat Express. Along with this, Railways is also preparing to run the country’s first Vande Bharat Sleeper Train and Vande Metro. According to BG Mallya, General Manager of Integral Coach Factory, Vande Bharat Sleeper Train and Vande Metro will be launched in this financial year.
Vande Metro will run in January 2024!
Sleeper coaches of Vande Bharat will be started in the current financial year. Running of Vande Bharat Sleeper train will provide relief to passengers during long journeys. They will be able to complete their journey comfortably while sleeping comfortably. The first Vande Metro train is expected to arrive in January 2024 but will be ready in this calendar year. BG Mallya said that this train for non-air conditioned passengers will be started before October 31 this year. Let us tell you, ICF is also developing Vande Metro. Vande Metro will be a 12-coach train, which will be used for short distance travel.
Madhya Pradesh will get another Vande Bharat
Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav recently said that Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh will soon get Vande Bharat Express. While addressing the public in Neemuch, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had said that now the time has come to run Vande Bharat on this route. AAP MP Sudhir Gupta has already requested for this. He said that soon Vande Bharat Express train will run on this route.

A few days ago, Railways had shared some pictures of Vande Bharat Express in which its appearance was seen changed. Till now the color of Vande Bharat trains running in the country is white and blue.
The new 8-coach Vande Bharat Express, manufactured by the Railways’ Chennai-based Integral Coach Factory (ICF), is painted in orange (saffron) and brown colours. Apart from this, the cheetah logo in Vande Bharat train has also been changed. On 27 January 2019, services using the Train 18 set were renamed as Vande Bharat Express. The first service of Vande Bharat train started on 15 February 2019.
