Bijnor, July 13 (HS). Two weeks ago in the district, a woman, upset with a quarrel with neighbouring women, threw the nephew of the victim in a pond. He died by drowning in the water. Police arrested the accused woman and recovered the body on Saturday on her indication.
This entire incident is from Mohalla Kazizadgan of Chandpur city, where Sharsalan, the three-year-old son of Salim, a resident of Nindadun, had come to his maternal uncle's house several days ago. He disappeared on Friday during Jumme ki Namaaz. His maternal grandfather and maternal uncle searched a lot in the alleys of the locality, but could not find him.
On receiving information about the child's disappearance, police station in-charge Rajesh Bainsala and police officer Solanki formed a police team and sent it to different areas. Police detained a woman named Shaanu from the locality and interrogated her. On being questioned strictly, she confessed her crime and told that she had thrown the child alive in the coal pond. Police searched the pond on the directions of the woman and recovered the body of the missing child. The accused woman told that she had an argument with the women of the child Sharsalan's maternal uncle's house over some matter. Angered by this, she took this step. Police arrested the accused woman and started further action against her.
