UP BJYM President arrested under Gangster Act: In Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, the police has arrested a BJP Yuva Morcha official under the Gangster Act. Angered by the arrest, Yuva Morcha workers protested outside the police station. Along with this, the workers also clashed with the police. The workers allege that their leader is being unfairly targeted.

What was the whole incident?

Khoda Police of Ghaziabad has arrested Mandal President of BJP Yuva Morcha Anuj Kasana under the Gangster Act. After the arrest late on Wednesday evening, Yuva Morcha workers started protesting. On Thursday (January 2), a large number of workers gathered outside Indirapuram police station to express their displeasure.

BJP Yuva Morcha workers, who were protesting for more than five hours, raised slogans against the local administration and police. He alleged that our leader is being wrongly targeted. The arrest of Khoda Mandal President Anuj Kasana is politically motivated. On this issue, BJP Yuva Morcha chief official Sachin Dedha claimed that Kasana was regularly called to Indirapuram police station on the pretext of investigation. However, the latter has been arrested under the Gangster Act without giving any prior notice or explanation.

In this matter, SP Indirapuram Swatantra Singh said that the police action is according to the law. Anuj Kasana has been arrested at Khoda police station in connection with two previous criminal cases registered against him and his brother Amit Kasana. This includes allegations of firing and extortion. Police is taking appropriate action on this matter.

MLA calmed down the matter

It is noteworthy that on Thursday, from 11 am to 4 pm, BJP Yuva Morcha workers demonstrated outside the police station in protest against the police action. The matter calmed down when the local BJP MLA talked to the police officer at 4 pm. The MLA told the protesters that there would be a fair investigation into the matter. After getting the assurance from the MLA, the protesters left the police station.
