New Delhi: The Special Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) court in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar has issued a notice to actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aaliya Siddiqui, asking her to appear in the court on October 7 in the molestation case filed against the actor. POCSO court judge, Ritesh Sachdeva on Tuesday asked complainant Aliya Siddiqui to appear in the court to answer after the police filed the final report in the case against all the accused, including Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Government lawyer Pradeep Baliyan said that the police has given clean chit to all the five accused including Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the molestation case.
According to the prosecution, Nawazuddin’s brother Minajuddin had allegedly molested a minor member of the family in 2012, while others supported him.
An FIR was filed by Alia in Mumbai and later in 2020, it was transferred to Budhana police station.
After investigation, the police has given clean chit to Nawazuddin, his mother Mehrunisa, his brothers Faizuddin, Ayazuddin and Minajuddin in this case.
