Hamirpur, June 15 (HS). On Saturday, near Patara Shramadan in Kurara police station area, on the information of an informer, the police arrested two accused with 20 kg 500 grams of ganja and sent them to jail.
On Saturday, the police was informed about two suspicious youths going to sell ganja on the Hamirpur-Kalpi highway near Patara Shramdan in the police station area. On receiving the information, Patara outpost in-charge Shivkumar Singh reached the spot and surrounded and caught both the accused. 20 kg 500 grams of illegal ganja was recovered from them. During interrogation, they told their names as Sanjay Prajapati, son of Lala Bhaiya, resident of Rajendra Nagar, police station Kabrai Mahoba and Vikas Pandey, son of late Mohanlal Pandey, resident of Fatehpur near Walkerganj outpost. The police arrested both of them, registered a case and sent them to jail.
