Bijnor, 21 August (HS). Two cow smugglers who were going to slaughter a cow were shot in the leg in an encounter with the police. Police have arrested three cow smugglers including two injured ones. Police has started the process of arresting the accused and sending them to jail.

The incident is of Nagina police station area Alhedadpur. Where Nagina police and cow smugglers had an encounter late at night. Late at night Nagina police received information that some cow smugglers in Alhedadpur village are planning to slaughter cows in a garden. On receiving the information, the police team raided the garden and on seeing the police, the cow smugglers opened fire on the police team. In the retaliatory firing by the police, two cow smugglers were injured by bullets in their legs.

One of his associates fled from the spot. The police caught two cow smugglers in an injured state while the third accused was surrounded and captured. Pistols, bikes and cow slaughtering equipment have been recovered from the possession of the arrested accused Shahjad, Danish, Mohammad Usman.

Two policemen slightly injured

In this case, SP Rural Ram Arj says that there was an encounter between cow smugglers and police late at night. In the encounter, two cow smugglers were shot in the leg while two policemen were slightly injured. The police team has caught three cow smugglers. Legal action is being taken.
