Lucknow, 29 July (HS). Madiyav police station has solved the case of murder of a youth at a barber shop on 27 July and arrested two accused who were absconding. The youth was murdered due to a fight for supremacy.
Deputy Commissioner of Police North Abhijeet Shankar R said that on Saturday evening in Millatnagar of Faizullahganj, Abu Umama alias Osama was sitting at the shop of barber Mahfoos Alam to get his hair cut. Then two youths stabbed him to death and fled. His uncle Ansar Ahmed had lodged a case in this matter. Police teams were searching for the accused. Then information was received that two youths who had murdered Abu were sitting under a tree on the roadside on the way to Dubagga. Police reached the spot and caught the accused. On their information, the knife used in the murder and the blood-soaked clothes of the accused were recovered.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police said that during interrogation, the accused have also admitted that they killed Osama due to the fight for supremacy. The police is taking further action against the accused. The Deputy Commissioner of Police also said that the name of Lala Gang which has come up in the investigation is also being investigated. Further action will be taken on the basis of whatever evidence comes.
