Ayodhya, July 27 (HS). Shivdayal Jaiswal Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, Tulsi Nagar paid heartfelt tributes to the 11th President of India, Bharat Ratna Dr APJ Abdul Kalam on his death anniversary. Throwing light on the life of Dr Kalam, the school's Principal Avani Kumar Shukla said that he came to be known as the Missile Man of India for his work on the development of ballistic missile and launch vehicle technology. He played an important organizational, technical and political role in India's Pokhran-II nuclear tests in 1998, which were the first tests after the original nuclear tests conducted by India in 1974.
He was born on 15 October 1931 in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu. He always used to say that to succeed in our mission, we have to be loyal to our goal. Despite being the President, his life was very simple. We learn from the life of APJ Abdul Kalam that simplicity and spontaneity are the keys to a successful life. Dr. Kalam died of a heart attack on 27 July 2015 while giving a lecture at IIM Shillong. Prominent among those who paid tribute were Acharya Lalla Singh, Krishnanand Tiwari, Arvind Kumar, Uttam Kumar, Mukesh Kumar, Parmatmadin, Ram Ji Mishra, Urmila Shukla, Seema Pandey, Jyoti Tiwari, Vibha, Alok, Vineet, Ghanshyam Singh, Ram Ujaagar and all the students.
