Transport accountant absconded after selling eight trucks of cement, case filed against eight | News India


Hamirpur, 13 September (HS). The transport accountant duped the transport owner and sold the cement at another place after loading eight trucks of cement from JK Cement located in Sumerpur town. He then absconded. On Friday, based on the complaint of the transport owner, the police have registered a case of breach of trust.

Awadhesh Kumar Shukla, resident of Devanandpur New Basti police station of Raebareli district, told that he has a transport in the name of Suraj Road Lines. One of its branches is operating in Sumerpur. The work of this branch is being looked after by Munim Anand Vardhan Singh, resident of Bhikhapur Chicholi police station Jagatpur Raebareli. Between 31 August and 6 September, he sent eight trucks of cement from the factory and absconded with the money. The landlord Sandeep Sonkar, resident of Ingohta, is also involved in this work of Munim. Both of them have sold the cement in collusion. This was revealed when the goods did not reach the place of order and calls started coming from there. It was told that most of the goods were to go to Lalitpur, Fatehpur, Jhansi, Akbarpur, Mahoba. The transport owner told that the Munim has absconded after switching off his phone. On the complaint of the transport owner, the police have registered a case of breach of trust against the Munim and his landlord, truck drivers and their owners and eight other people.
