Tragic accident in firecracker factory in Virudhunagar district, 6 workers died

In a tragic accident, a firecracker manufacturing unit exploded in Virudhunagar district of Tamil Nadu, killing six workers. Many rooms demolished due to explosion, rescue operation continues

Immediately after the incident, the fire and rescue department team reached the spot and started the rescue operation. Officials said that the explosion was so severe that many rooms of the factory were completely demolished. The deceased have been identified as Velmurugan, Nagaraj, Kannan, Kamaraj, Shivakumar and Meenakshi Sundaram.
