Torrent Gas, which has received approval from the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) to supply Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Piped Natural Gas (PNG) to Patiala, Sas Nagar, Sangrur Malerkotla, has announced the supply of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Piped Natural Gas (PNG) to Patiala customers. Supply of piped cooking gas has been started. City. Aman Arora, Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Government of Punjab, announced the launch of 101 piped gas connections in Patiala. Besides, the customer will also have to pay after consumption. Which makes PNG the choice of customers. With flexibility it becomes more affordable. Torrent Gas currently has more than 26 CNG stations across areas including Patiala and has connections to more than 3250 households. It has laid 86 km steel, 440 km MDPE pipeline. Which will provide PNG to 23 thousand houses of Patiala, Rajpura, Derabassi by March 2024.
