Bijnor, September 21 (HS) | The City Kotwali Police Station has arrested three vehicle thieves along with six stolen two-wheelers. According to the information given by the police, after receiving information from an informer, three accused Hemendra Singh alias Chhotu son of Bhopal Singh resident of Batpura, Haldaur police station, Bijnor district, Shailabh alias Siddharth son of Lokendra Singh resident of Aman Nagar, Kiratpur police station, Bijnor district, Arun Kumar son of Chhatrapal Singh resident of village Jhalri, City Kotwali police station were arrested with a stolen scooter on Kiratpur Road. Five stolen motorcycles and a scooter have been recovered on the information given by the accused. The reports of all these vehicles are registered in different police stations.
During interrogation, the accused told that they steal vehicles from crowded places. A motorcycle was stolen from in front of Bijnor's prominent coaching center on September 20, ten days ago from outside Wimart shopping complex and a month ago from in front of Gopal Nursing Home. Apart from this, a motorcycle was stolen from outside Bijnor station two days ago and from outside Haldaur station twenty days ago. All the motorcycles could not be sold till now due to lack of customers. The accused told that they were in touch with customers in Muzaffarnagar and Haridwar to sell the bikes. Apart from them, the names of their associates Shivam son Tejpal resident of village Aadopur police station Kotwali city, Chhotu son Rajveer Singh resident Gyan Vihar Colony police station Kotwali Bijnor, and Rajat son Chandan resident of village Radawali police station Purkaji district Muzaffarnagar have also come to light. Efforts are being made to arrest them.
