Bhopal, 4 May (HS). Hockey India on Saturday announced the Indian team for the Europe Tour. Three players from Madhya Pradesh State Men's Hockey Academy – Ankit Pal, Kunen Dad and Talim Priyo Barta have been selected in the Indian team. The Indian team will play practice matches in Netherlands and Belgium. The Indian team will undertake this tour from 20th to 29th May.
It is noteworthy that all three players of Madhya Pradesh Academy are medal winners of Khelo India Youth Games 2022 and Junior National. This is the first time when three players have been selected together in the Indian team.
Madhya Pradesh State Men's Hockey Team coach Sameer Dad expressed happiness and informed that Ankit Pal, Kunen Dad and Talim Priyo Barta are very talented players. Surely this competition will improve the game of these players. All the players are training at the State Sports Academy under the guidance of chief coach Sameer Dad and assistant coaches Lokendra Sharma and Habib Hasan.
