Firozabad, 31 August (HS). Police has arrested three people including a woman candidate who appeared in the police recruitment exam on the basis of fake educational certificates in the second shift of the police recruitment exam held on Friday in the district. Police took action against them under relevant sections late night and sent them to jail on Saturday.
During the second shift of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Examination, when the Aadhaar card of a candidate did not match with the original Aadhaar card, the centre administrator, static magistrate and centre in-charge police conducted a serious investigation and took an accused Jitendra into police custody from the examination centre Daudyal Mahila Mahavidyal. On verification of Aadhaar, the name in the original Aadhaar card was Jitendra Kumar son of Ramesh Babu resident Madiya Karilgarh district Etawah, whereas the name of the candidate in the examination admit card was Sudhir Kumar son of Ramesh Chandra. He was taken into custody and questioned. Accused Jitendra told that I had passed the high school examination in the year 2012, in which my date of birth is 04 May 1998. Being older than the age limit for police recruitment, I again took the high school examination in 2018 with the name Sudhir, in which the date of birth is 10 December 1999 and got my fake Aadhaar card made in the name of Sudhir.
On the basis of the complaint of the centre administrator principal Professor Renu Verma, a case has been registered under relevant sections at Police Station North and legal action is being taken. Similarly, during the second shift of the examination, the accused Poonam has been taken into police custody from the examination centre Daudyal Mahila Mahavidyal. On Aadhaar verification, the name in the original Aadhaar card was appearing as Kumari Poonam daughter of Vinod Kumar resident of Nagla Harjivan police station Mahavan district Mathura, whereas the name of the candidate in the examination admit card was Anjali daughter of Vinod Kumar. The accused Kumari Poonam told that I had passed the high school examination in the year 2009, in which my date of birth is 05 August 1994. Being above the age limit for police recruitment, I again appeared for the high school examination in 2015 in the name of Anjali, in which the date of birth is 05 July 2001 and got my fake Aadhaar card made in the name of Anjali.
On the basis of the complaint of the center administrator, principal Renu Verma, a case has been registered under relevant sections at the North Police Station and legal action is being taken. Apart from this, during the second shift examination, the accused Sanjeev Singh son of Lajja Ram has been taken into police custody from the examination center Mahatma Gandhi Mahila PG College. On Aadhaar verification, the name Sagar Singh son Lajja Ram resident of Fateh Nagla Police Station Kamalganj District Farrukhabad was displayed in the original Aadhar card, while the name of the candidate in the examination admit card was Sanjeev Singh. Accused Sanjeev told that I had passed the high school examination in the year 2014, in which my date of birth is 05 May 1998. Being above the age limit in police recruitment, I again took the high school examination in 2021 with the name Sagar, in which the date of birth is 05 May 2004 and got my Aadhar card updated with the name Sagar. On the basis of the complaint of the center administrator, principal Anju Sharma, a case has been registered under relevant sections at the South Police Station and legal action is being taken. While searching them, the police found two Aadhar cards in different names and high school and intermediate mark sheets in different names from their bags.
