Thread trader raises questions on police, five miscreants still absconding | News India

Meerut, 27 August (HS). The police may have solved the robbery at the house of thread trader Shadab in Umar Nagar of Lohianagar police station area, but the trader raised questions on the police. The trader said that the police have recovered only 25 percent of the goods and five miscreants are still absconding. He appealed to the police for his protection.

Masked armed criminals carried out a robbery of Rs 40 lakh at the house of thread trader Shadab in Umar Nagar by taking his family hostage. Police have arrested three criminals and recovered some of the stolen goods, but five criminals are still absconding. This robbery was carried out by e-rickshaw driver Zaki Ahmed along with his accomplices.

On Tuesday, thread trader Shadab questioned the police's disclosure and said that only 25 percent of the looted goods have been recovered so far and five miscreants are absconding. In such a situation, he is worried about his and his family's safety. The businessman has also handed over a CCTV footage to the police and has demanded the arrest of the remaining miscreants.

The businessman said that he is not satisfied with the police's disclosure. The five criminals involved in the robbery are still out and they can attack the family anytime. Therefore, these criminals should be caught and sent to jail. For this, he will also meet the SSP soon.
