San Francisco: A large number of trees have turned into coal in 3,70,000 acres in the western state of California on the Pacific coast of America, this fire is not natural but man-made.
The FBI and state police finally caught the man named Ronnie Stout yesterday (Monday) and brought him to court.
This Ronnie Stout pushed his burning motorbike into the forest and came out quickly. The police caught Ronnie Stout on the basis of the number plate of the motorbike. The question as to why he would have committed such a heinous act remains unanswered. Psychiatrists say that he must have developed a mental disorder due to some deep depression. Otherwise no one would burn his motorbike and throw it in the middle of the forest.
Arsonist Ronnie Stout was remanded into custody after Butte County Judge Kristen Lucena denied him bail.
Markfire was located 100 miles north of the city of Scituate. They covered these counties (districts).
109 houses were destroyed due to this fire. The fire is so fierce that the people of Laibamba have been able to control the fire in only 12 percent of the area so far. The authorities have evacuated 8,000 residents of the forest area. Therefore, there were no casualties due to the fire.
Efforts are being made to save animals including dogs from the fire. North Valley Emergency Disaster Group (local rescue) organizations also helped the police a lot as the dogs got out of the fire area. They have also rescued 60 large cattle and many sheep and goats. Large animals include cows and horses. This is what NBC says.
