Udaipur, July 18 (HS). Udaipur MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat said that today some people have gone to Mangarh Dham demanding a separate state, they are inspired by the ideas of the British and the Church. They are creating a misleading environment by going there. The people who have gone there belong to an organization, who have gone there only with the political objective of spreading the poison of fanaticism and casteism.

Dr. Rawat was addressing the journalists at the Zila Parishad Auditorium here on Thursday. He said that some people are spreading the misconception that the tribals are not Hindus. The society and the region should be cautious of such elements. Such things should not happen to spoil the social harmony. He said that the tribal society did not even go there.

He said that Mangarh Dham is the place of Aadidev, Mahadev, Aadishakti, where the tribal community went to perform havan with ghee on the day of Purnima on the orders of their Guru as per their Sanatan tradition. This tribal community was massacred by the British in 1913 by heavy shelling. Today, those who have gone there demanding a separate state are furthering the politics of those massacre perpetrators.

Rawat said that the Centre led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the state government led by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma have given beneficial schemes for the local tribal society and southern Rajasthan. In their frustration, these elements are going there and spreading ideological pollution.

MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat said that the tribal society has been a victim of conspiracy from the very beginning under the influence of missionaries. When the Constitution was framed in 1950, the notification issued by the President regarding the definition of Scheduled Caste (SC) clearly stated that only a person belonging to Hindu society will be called a Scheduled Caste.

He said that the same provision was to be applicable for Scheduled Tribes (ST) as well. In that too, only those who believed in Hindu culture were to be considered tribals and get the benefit of tribal reservation. But, under the influence of Christian missionaries, double standards were adopted with the tribal society.

He clearly said that the tribal people who, under the allurement and pressure of Christian missionaries, have abandoned Hindu traditions and faith and have adopted Christianity or Islam, and have joined the minority community, since they are no longer tribals, they should not get the benefit of tribal reservation, but they are still taking advantage of tribal reservation, which is unconstitutional, undemocratic, inhuman and immoral.

He said that these 5% converted people are snatching the rights of 95% people who are actually eligible for reservation from the tribal class. To identify such ineligible people, a movement is going on in 22 states of the country, which is being called de-listing movement. Those opposing this de-listing movement are associated with the ideology inspired by the church. He told that these people have been identified in states like Jhabua, Jharkhand etc. Now these people have also infiltrated southern Rajasthan. Now they are engaged in efforts to disintegrate social unity and harmony from Mangarh Dham through the local organization influenced by the church. To keep the national interest and Sanatan culture intact, there is a need to be cautious of such elements.
