The government is also building a park and parking space for the convenience of the public at the place under the Kakarmatta flyover of Kashi, which has been a victim of encroachment. Many sculptures representing the heritage of Kashi will be seen under the flyover. This area is being made more beautiful with landscaping. The project is likely to be completed by the end of September.
Game zone is being built in 100 meter empty space
The Yogi government is constructing a sports plaza or game zone for children to play under the flyover in the middle of the road. According to Municipal Commissioner Akshat Verma, a game zone for children is being built in an empty space of about 100 meters under the Kakaramta flyover at a cost of about one crore. The gaming plaza will be air-conditioned and will have CCTV cameras. Here children will play indoor games like chess, carrom board, table tennis etc. Apart from this, there will also be parking and toilets for four-wheelers and two-wheelers. Landscaping is also being done under the flyover. Sculptures will be made on the theme of Kashi's culture and heritage.
A unique experiment is being done under the guidance of Yogi government
The Municipal Commissioner said that this is a unique experiment in the state. After the success of this scheme, other encroachments and unused places in Varanasi will also be identified. For the convenience of the public, unused places will be selected and developed through various schemes to make them useful for the public.
